Wine review: Little Ripples Pinot Noir

Recently I was sent the latest releases from Little Ripples and I couldn’t wait to share them with you all! I was beyond excited to see that they’ve added the Little Ripples Pinot Noir to their range as a limited batch. The best part? Like all of their wines, you can do good while you sip this tasty number. For every bottle of wine sold by Little Ripples, they provide one person in need with water for a year. Their goal is to provide 5 million people with clean drinking water within the next 10 years. It’s an incredible cause, and great that we wine lovers can sip our way to helping achieve it!

But most importantly, how’s the wine? Well, I am a sucker for a Pinot, and the Little Ripples Pinot Noir really hit the spot. Produced with fruits from the Adelaide Hills, this light and fruit-forward Pinot is perfect for enjoying as the weather heats up. I think it would be perfect chilled with a charcuterie or simply paired with grilled meat. No matter what you pair it with, this balanced and delicious red is sure to hit the spot. Notes of cherry, plum and strawberry all play through the aroma, and the palate is nice and juicy with a hint of oak influence to balance it all out. This wine is simply tasty, and a great choice if you want a delicious drop to enjoy while supporting a great cause.

About Little Ripples

Little Ripples is multi-regional, sourcing the best fruit from across Australia to produce premium and accessible wines for everyone to enjoy. But beyond producing beautiful wines, they have a goal to provide 5 million people with clean drinking water within the next 10 years. Together with their charity partner, the BridgeIT Water Foundation, they identify communities most in need, facilitate the construction or repair of a water well and implement a strategy to maintain and manage the well for at least 10 years.

They fund this through their wine: for every bottle sold, they provide one person in need with water for a year. Purchases have already enabled the construction of 36 water wells, providing the equivalent of 358,500 people with one year of fresh, clean water.

You can purchase this wine from The Little Ripples website.

Note: This wine was sent as a sample. I was under no obligation to post about it.
