You all know by now how much I love my Rosé, and this one was not only easy drinking and tasty, but it also has a great cause. I love any wines that allow me to support great causes while I enjoy a glass of vino, and the Hidden Sea is doing just that! Each bottle of wine they sell cleans up the equivalent of 10 plastic bottles from the ocean!

I received a few of their wines to try and so I wanted to share with you how delicious the Hidden Sea Rosé was. Not only is it delicious and supporting a good cause, but it’s also affordable too!

About The Hidden Sea

The Hidden Sea is an incredible wine company that has a mission to clean up the equivalent of 1 billion plastic bottles from our oceans. They do this by partnering with ReSea. Every single bottle of wine purchased cleans up the equivalent of 10 plastic bottles from the world’s oceans. Imagine how many bottles us wine drinkers could clean up by drinking wine?

I absolutely love the Hidden Sea’s mission, but their wines are also just plain delicious. Apart from the striking labels, these wines are super approachable, easy-drinking and plain delicious. They are the sort of wines you don’t need to think twice about cracking open, and are a perfect one for opening with friends.

For every case sold of this wine, they will remove the equivalent of 1 kilogram of plastic bottles from the ocean and recycle them!

What I loved about The Hidden Sea Rosé

The Hidden Sea Rosé

The Hidden Sea Rosé is a luscious wine with vibrant flavours and a nice crisp finish. Aroma wise it was full of strawberries and cream which was mirrored in the palate. This was paired with a nice hint of spice to balance out the fruit. The wine had a good balance of acidity and the strawberry flavours really lengthened in the finish. The wine finishes fruity but with balanced acidity to make it oh so refreshing.

This is the kind of Rosé you don’t need to think too much about to enjoy. It is made for good times and is simply delicious. This wine is the kind of wine you can imagine cracking open with friends and enjoying without having to worry too much about tasting notes or what it will pair with. It’s simply good.

What to enjoy it with

You could easily enjoy a couple of bottles of this wine with friends over an afternoon and some light picnic food. It’s the kind of wine you could really settle in with and that is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. My personal pick would have to be a nice cheese platter for a food pairing. You honestly cannot go wrong, and as I sip this wine I cannot think of anything better to pair it with!

In summary: The Hidden Sea Rosé
