Wicks Estate Pinot Rosé 2021

by The Cheeky Vino

Do you know what rhymes with #friyay? Rosé…Well, I mean kinda. If you’re me you can rhyme any word with Rosé because this account is basically a Rosé appreciation blog at this point. But all jokes aside, I do have an awesome Rosé to introduce you to for your Friday! It ticked all the boxes for me and I reckon it will for you too. Everyone, meet the Wicks Estate Pinot Rosé 2021. Isn’t she beautiful?

The Wicks family ties to Adelaide Hills started as a fruit orchard and nursery by their great grandfather L.J. Wicks in 1918. It was only in 1999 that Tim and Simon Wicks purchased the 54-hectare property they now call home and Wicks Estate. 20 years on, Wicks Estate is a family affair involving their partners, children, friends and dogs.

Their website has a quote from an unknown source about this wine saying ‘I could drink this wine all day, and I often do’. Honestly, same. And if I had an endless supply of this wine, I reckon I would.

The Wicks Estate Pinot Rosé 2021 is beautiful and elegant yet fresh and vibrant. It is juicy yet crisp and refined. Just dry enough to balance out the ripe strawberry notes. For $20 a bottle this wine is affordable and absolutely delicious!

It’s the kind of Rosé you can enjoy with or without food, but would be perfect on a sunny afternoon with friends. Paired with some aperitivo is perfection! It’s the kind of wine you don’t need an occasion to enjoy. Just pop it open and enjoy!

You can find this wine at the Wicks Estate website.
