Wine review: Taylors Promised Land Rosé 2022
It’s been a while since I’ve had a Rosé which is very unusual for me. But when Taylors sent me their new look Promised Land Rosé to try, it was the perfect excuse to revisit the love of my life. This range supports Project Seahorse with every sip, a global marine conservation organisation committed to the conservation and sustainable use of coastal marine ecosystems, and the survival of seahorses who are a vital indicator of the oceans being in a better state for thousands of other species. Taylors also partner with the Sydney Institute of Marine Science to support their work in restoring vital marine habitats and protecting seahorses around Sydney.
The best part about the Taylors Promised Land Rosé 2022 is that not only can you support a great cause by sipping on it, it’s a delicious wine too! On the nose, this beautiful Rosé is packed full of strawberries, raspberries and a hint of citrus. The palate is light with juicy notes of strawberry and raspberry along with a hint of creaminess that rounds it out beautifully. The finish has just the right amount of acidity to make it oh-so crisp and refreshing. This wine is perfect for enjoying when you want something light and easy to drink, and perfect for sunsets or enjoying over a picnic with friends.
About Taylors
Taylors is an institution of Australian wine and it is easy to see why. Their long-standing association with the Clare Valley began in the late 1950s. At the time they were Sydney wine merchants and partnered with the Clare Valley Co-operative to bottle and distribute their own wines under the Chateau Clare label.
The Taylor family were inspired by the wines of Bordeaux and wanted to craft the best wines in the world. So in 1969, they bought a site by the Wakefield River in South Australia’s Clare Valley.
Taylors is a family-owned wine company resting on the principle that the finest wines are those made with the greatest dedication and care, as well as respecting the fruit. They’re also committed to operating in a responsible and sustainable manner across their operations.
