Wine review: Break Free Wines Rosé 2022
With my obsession with Rosé, I could hardly believe that this one lasted throughout the Summer break without being drunk. But to my surprise, it was waiting patiently for me to enjoy, just when I thought I was running out of Rosé! The Break Free Wines Rosé 2022 was so delicious and refreshing that I had to share it with you all, especially with such a nice label! This Rosé is perfect if you’re after a thirst quencher for warmer days. Pair it with a lovely sunset and charcuterie, and you have a winning combo!
The Break Free Wines Rosé 2022 is made using Shiraz grapes which offers something different to what you might be used to with your Rosé. On the nose, notes of cherry and floral come through, and the cherry follows through into a cherry and strawberry dominant palate. These notes are nicely balanced by the texture of the wine which has a nice crunch of acidity to balance the fruitiness perfectly. It’s refined, balanced and oh-so-refreshing. This wine is sure to tick all the boxes for Summer sipping and is definitely a wine you could go back for another glass of!
About Clandestine Vineyards
Break Free Wines is part of the Clandestine Vineyards family. Clandestine Vineyards’ focus is to represent 100% varietal wines from single vineyard sites across the best sub-regions for those varietals. Growers are chosen for best organic vineyard practices, zero harmful pesticides/herbicides and commitment to sustainability.
Coordinating 14 separate vineyards, two winemakers and two processing facilities across two states (WA and SA) is no easy task, especially in a pandemic, but Clandestine Vineyards takes it in their stride to produce incredible wines based on longstanding relationships and the founders, Nick and Trudy’s, vision for every vintage.
Their Break Free Wines series are all-natural wines born from the desire to showcase grapes with no intervention, expressing their true essence. These wines are free from pesticides, herbicides additives and filtration.
