Wine review: Small Victories Rosé
The Small Victories Rosé is the perfect wine for enjoying with friends over lunch or a picnic. It has just enough oomph to it to be paired beautifully with food. No matter the weather outside, this wine will go well with a wide range of foods, from spicy winter soup to charcuterie. It’s the kind of wine that has a really nice balance of flavours that is sure to be a hit with a crowd.
On the nose, the Grenache Mataro blend in the Small Victories Rosé brings out strawberry and spice which follows through into the palate. The taste of this wine is where things get interesting. Strawberry, spice and a savoury undertone blend beautifully, and the palate is crunchy with vibrant acidity that brings the wine to a nice, crisp finish. This is the kind of wine that is simply delicious from start to finish.
