I am a sucker for a beautiful wine label, but it is even better when the wine inside is amazing too! I’ve been fangirling hard on the range of Nova Vita wines because they are oh so beautiful. And the team was lovely enough to send me a bottle to try! I have to say, the Nova Vita Firebird Pinot Rosé was everything I wanted it to be and more. It was so much more than just a cute label!
Nova Vita is based in the Adelaide Hills. Their philosophy is making elegant and premium quality wines applying sustainable practices to viticulture and winemaker. They began in 1999 and grew their vineyards from there. They are also passing their family’s love of wine down through the generations with their range names a nod to this tradition.
The Nova Vita Firebird Pinot Rosé is made from Pinot Noir grapes from the Adelaide Hills. It has a lovely pale salmon colour in the glass which I loved. On the nose, I got strawberries and some apples with a beautiful floral note of rose. I loved how aromatic this Rosé was – I found myself going back to it again and again. On the palate, this wine was as refreshing as I was hoping it would be. It had a lovely crisp acidity and a nice dry finish with a little hint of savoury notes to round up the juicy fruits and florals.
This wine is only $20 a bottle which I think is really affordable for a bottle of wine so pretty and delicious.
