Wine review: Nimble Vintner Pinot Gris 2022
For my last wine review before our holiday, I’m sharing the delightful Nimble Vintner Pinot Gris 2022. It’s no secret I’ve been enjoying sipping my way through the wines from the Nimble Vintner. I love that they showcase small parcels in a direct business model so we can drink delicious wine at affordable prices. This Pinot Gris is screaming out for Summer and transported me to our European holiday in a glass. I can just imagine having a glass or two of this to cool down in the sun. Pair it with seafood and you have the perfect pairing for warmer weather.
On the nose, the Nimble Vintner Pinot Gris 2022 is packed full of classic aromas of pear, apple and lemon. These lovely notes follow through into the palate that has a thirst-quenching, crisp acidity that makes it oh-so-perfect for Summer. The fruit notes are delicate and nicely balanced making this wine the kind that you keep going back to. It’s not hard to imagine polishing this one off quite quickly in warmer weather. It delivers everything you want in a refreshing white all wrapped up in a great price tag!
