Wine review: Ampersand Estates Rosé 2025
Recently, I opened a bottle of the Ampersand Estates Rosé 2025, and it was the perfect pairing to a weekend away at the beach. This wine and Summer go hand in hand. Made from Grenache, this rosé is beautifully pale in the glass and bursting with vibrant fruit, while still keeping things refined and elegant. If you love rosé that’s fresh, dry and seriously easy to drink, this one absolutely delivers. It’s bright, lively and perfect for those relaxed moments when you just want something crisp and refreshing in your glass.
From the first sip, the Ampersand Estates Rosé 2025 shows off plenty of fresh red berry flavours, with notes of strawberry and raspberry alongside a little zesty grapefruit that keeps everything feeling bright and energetic. The palate is clean and crisp with a lovely textured mouthfeel, finishing dry with just a hint of complexity that adds a bit of sophistication to all that vibrant fruit. This is the kind of rosé that’s made for beach picnics, long lunches and warm evenings outdoors. It would be beautiful with fresh salads, seafood or light pasta dishes, but it’s just as enjoyable on its own when you’re simply in the mood for a chilled glass of rosé.
