I was so excited to get the opportunity to try the new red wines from the Hidden Sea. But you know I had to start with what intrigued me most – The Hidden Sea Pinot Noir!
β
The Hidden Sea is an incredible wine company that has a mission to clean up the equivalent of 1 billion plastic bottles from our oceans. β
β
They’ve already cleaned up over 4 million plastic bottles in just a year! That deserves some applause in itself . They do this by partnering with ReSea. Every single bottle of wine purchased cleans up the equivalent of 10 plastic bottles from the worldβs oceans. Imagine how many bottles we wine drinkers could clean up by drinking wine?β
β
Apart from the striking labels, these wines are super approachable, easy-drinking and plain delicious. They are the sort of wines you donβt need to think twice about cracking open, and are a perfect one for opening with friends. β
The Hidden Sea Pinot Noir is one of the newest releases in their range and I am all here for it. You know how much I love a good Pinot!
My take: The Hidden Sea Pinot Noir
I found this wine soft and juicy with cherry and strawberry along with a hint of floral on the nose. The palate was refined with great texture and a nice long finish.
The Hidden Sea Pinot Noir is the kind of wine that is perfect for enjoying with friends. Coming into the holiday season it would make a great wine to bring along to that Summer picnic or BBQ. It would also be great to serve chilled, which makes it perfect for summer sipping!
You can nab a six-pack of this Pinot Noir for $98 with free shipping in Australia from the Hidden Sea website. That’s 60 bottles removed from the ocean and recycled!
