The Flying Winemaker Pinot Noir 2019 is perfect for wine lovers that love Pinot but don’t want to break the bank on something simply delicious. This wine delivers exactly what you want from a good Pinot without the price tag, making it perfect for enjoying with friends or over a big bowl of mushroom risotto on the couch. You don’t have to wait for a special occasion to open this wine, and I love that about it.
The Flying Winemaker Pinot Noir 2019 is a delicious balance between fruity flavours and plush, silky tannins. On the nose, there is beautifully dark plum and cherry which follows through into the palate. These fruity flavours give the wine a nice fresh front, and this is balanced out by notes from integrated oak. A delicious spice comes through along with a beautifully smooth finish. This wine is nicely balanced and just a delight to drink.
About The Flying Winemaker
The Flying Winemaker is a growing collection of brands from the New World determined to change the way wine is perceived, enjoyed and shared all over the world. It’s led by founder and winemaker Eddie McDougall and is focused on bringing anyone’s dream to make and sell great wines to life. I really enjoyed their Prosecco too (read the review here).
The winemakers of the group can freely discover new regions, experiment with blends and uncover new varietals to produce both classic and alternative wines. Their overarching philosophy is that wine should be easily enjoyed by all people.
