Ever since our honeymoon, I’ve been head over heels for Tassie Sparkling, and now that the weather is well and truly hot I want it even more! Thankfully I was sent a few of the Pipers Tasmania wines to try and I couldn’t contain my excitement. Their new look labels are so eye-catching, and the Pipers Brook Tasmania Sparkling NV is no different!
Pipers Tasmania is a modern expression of a Tasmanian icon. Grown and crafted by Pipers Brook Vineyard, in a fresh style that pays homage to the history and story of the classic Pipers Brook Estate range of wines. They have a great range of wines to discover, but their Sparkling Wine is a serious classic!
I absolutely love this Pipers Brook Tasmania Sparkling NV. It was delicate yet complex and oh so refreshing. I loved the vibrancy in this wine both in its flavours and aromas. It had a great citrus presence that made it crisp and fresh, along with a hint of apple.
It is a great contender for a bottle of bubbles as we head into the silly season! I can see this going perfectly with hot and long summer days. Enjoying a glass of this wine of an afternoon to cool down would be perfection.
There are so many great pairings for a good bottle of bubbles. I can’t think of a better pairing for this one than seafood – such as some fresh oysters!
