Wine review: Millon Wines 2020 Reserve Shiraz
The Millon Wines 2020 Reserve Shiraz is a perfect addition to a special occasion or a great gift for a loved one. It’s the kind of wine that you can keep unpacking sip after sip, complex yet beautifully balanced. What I love is that it isn’t overly jammy for a Barossa Shiraz and actually quite velvety and plush. It’s the kind of wine I wished I had a couple of bottles of because it was a really memorable wine to drink.
On the nose, the Millon Wines 2020 Reserve Shiraz has complex aromas of blackberries, plum and a hint of cocoa. This follows through into the palate which has plenty of layers to unpack. Red fruits, spice and integrated oak come together into a seriously balanced wine with a beautiful length. The tannins are also fine and nice and velvety which added to that beautiful balance. This wine is the kind of wine that you keep going back to as you unpack it, and with each sip it delivers.
