Wine review: Little Ripples Pinot Grigio
A few weeks ago I was sent the latest releases from Little Ripples and I’ve enjoyed exploring them! This week I wanted to share a fun little summer number with you: the Little Ripples Pinot Grigio. Like all of their wines, you can do good while you sip this delicious wine. For every bottle of wine sold by Little Ripples, they provide one person in need with water for a year. Their goal is to provide 5 million people with clean drinking water within the next 10 years. It’s an incredible cause, and great that we wine lovers can sip our way to helping achieve it!
But how does the Little Ripples Pinot Grigio stack up? I have to say I adore this wine. It is light, refreshing and crisp, delivering everything you need for Summer in a well-priced bottle. Notes of pear, nectarine and lemon dance across the palate and are also prominent in the lifted aroma. I love the zippy acidity and zesty notes of lemon on the palate that make this wine oh-so refreshing. It’s the kind of wine you don’t need to think too much about, it’s just tasty. And what more could you want on a hot Summer day?
About Little Ripples
Little Ripples is multi-regional, sourcing the best fruit from across Australia to produce premium and accessible wines for everyone to enjoy. But beyond producing beautiful wines, they have a goal to provide 5 million people with clean drinking water within the next 10 years. Together with their charity partner, the BridgeIT Water Foundation, they identify communities most in need, facilitate the construction or repair of a water well and implement a strategy to maintain and manage the well for at least 10 years.
They fund this through their wine: for every bottle sold, they provide one person in need with water for a year. Purchases have already enabled the construction of 36 water wells, providing the equivalent of 358,500 people with one year of fresh, clean water.
You can purchase this wine from The Little Ripples website.
Note: This wine was sent as a sample. I was under no obligation to post about it.
