Wine review: Break Free Wines Cabernet Franc

Now that we’re coming into warmer weather, I love finding vibrant reds that can be chilled. So when Clandestine Vineyards sent me some of their new vintage of Break Free Wines, the Break Free Wines Cabernet Franc caught my eye. It’s a natural wine that is right at home with pizza, pasta or charcuterie. It delivers everything you want in a wine that’s perfect for summer sipping. And it’s got a fun label to boot!

The Break Free Wines Cabernet Franc is simply a fun wine, and the kind of wine you don’t need to think too much about to enjoy. It’s made for drinking now and recommended to be served chill, making it a great wine to stock up on for Summer. On the nose, I got cherry, plum and a hint of pepper. This followed through into the palate which is vibrant and juicy, yet balanced with earthiness on the finish. This wine is textured with a great length, and is absolutely delicious!
