Wine review: Ada Wine Co Celui Pinot Noir
I love a good Pinot Noir, and I love it even more when it also has a beautiful label. So you best believe I was a happy lady when I was sent the Ada Wine Co Celui Pinot Noir to try. Not only is it stunning on the outside, but this youthful Pinot is also delicious. It’s part of the new release from Ada Wine Co and has seen around 10 months on oak before bottling. The result? This wine delivers youthful, juicy flavours whilst still having a lovely complexity and earthiness. I love Pinot with a hint of earthiness, so this wine really ticks all the boxes for me. And I reckon it will for you too!
On the nose, the Ada Wine Co Celui Pinot Noir is packed full of red fruit along with a hint of spice. Think Raspberry and Cherry goodness. This follows through into the palate which has plenty of vibrant, juicy notes upfront. These are balanced nicely by baking spices and a lovely earthy undertone that really rounds out the palate. It is lovely and complex for such a young wine, and really delivers on flavour. Juicy, complex, vibrant and a little bit elegant all wrapped in one. What more could you want, other than pairing this wine with a nice Charcuterie board with friends?
