Wine review: Zilzie Wines Butterfly Kiss Shiraz
Looking for an organic wine that doesn’t break the bank and seriously delivers on flavour? I mean who isn’t, right? And if you are, then I have the wine for you. The Zilzie Wines Butterfly Kiss Shiraz is from their Butterfly Kiss range which is all certified organic, sustainably farmed and vegan. When I was sent the range to try, I wasn’t sure where to start. They all sounded so good. So I thought why not start with a classic and crack open the Shiraz? I am certainly glad I did!
The Zilzie Wines Butterfly Kiss Shiraz is simply delicious. Notes of juicy raspberry along with a hint of white pepper come through in the aroma. This follows through into a juicy palate that has notes of dark berries and rhubarb along with the raspberry. These juicy notes are balanced beautifully by a hint of coffee and spice along with soft, smooth tannins. This wine is delectable and sure to be a crowd favourite. Pair it with your favourite comfort food and you have a taste sensation!
