Wine review: St Anne’s Vineyard Sparkling Shiraz

There is something about Sparkling Shiraz that just screams Christmas. I mean, if you’re in Australia that is, as we celebrate a hot Summer Christmas. This is why Sparkling Shiraz is such a popular choice for Christmas because it is refreshing but also goes with so many Christmas foods. So now that Christmas is almost upon us, I wanted to share the beautiful and affordable St Anne’s Vineyard Sparkling Shiraz just in time for your Christmas feast!

The St Anne’s Vineyard Sparkling Shiraz is Christmas in a glass. On the nose notes of raspberry and plum come to the forefront along with lovely spice. This follows through into the palate which is soft, supple and vibrant alongside a raspberry liquor profile. It has a hint of sweetness which goes beautifully alongside the spice and creamy bubbles. This wine is a delight to sip on and perfect for enjoying chilled with your Christmas feast, or simply even with a cheese platter. There’s no reason you can’t enjoy Sparkling Shiraz all year round!
