I’ve really been enjoying trying the wines from the Nimble Vintner and wanted to share this delicious blend with you all. I love the concept behind this winery where they work with leading grape growers and winemakers across Australia to showcase small parcels in a direct business model. It supports winemakers and growers, and also means we can enjoy delicious wine at affordable prices! And the Nimble Vintner Pinot Noir Syrah 2022 is one of the delicious wines available. It’s perfect if you want something a bit heavier than a Pinot, but still light and elegant. It’s the best of both, and perfect chilled or unchilled. Add some grilled meat or pasta and you have perfection!
On the nose, the Nimble Vintner Pinot Noir Syrah 2022 is packed full of fruit with notes of cherry and strawberry dominating alongside a hint of spice. This follows through into the palate which has a lovely savoury note to balance out the fruit. There’s plenty to unpack in each sip, with a nice elegance to the wine overall. Just the right amount of acidity makes this wine perfect for pairing with food. It’s balanced, elegant and simply delicious! And at this price point it is really great value too!
