Wine review: Little Ripples Cabernet Sauvignon
If you’re looking for a tasty wine that helps you do good while you sip, look no further than the Little Ripples Cabernet Sauvignon. After trying a few wines from this range, I was excited to give their Coonawarra Cab Sav a go and like all their wines I’ve tried, it did not disappoint. This wine is the kind of wine that you don’t need to think too much about opening, and is sure to be a crowd-pleaser. This makes it perfect for bringing along to a BBQ with friends. Add some steak and grilled lamb and you have the perfect combination!
The Little Ripples Cabernet Sauvignon is deliciously smooth and soft, with a lovely long lingering finish. It has a hint of those classic Coonawarra notes of mint alongside cherry and plum on the nose. The plum and cherry follow through into the palate, and on the finish is a beautiful coffee creaminess that really rounds out the fruit. This wine is complex and elegant, and simply tasty sip after sip. The best part? Not only is this wine delicious, but it also helps provide people in need with drinking water. So you get great wine, and do good while you sip!
About Little Ripples
Little Ripples is multi-regional, sourcing the best fruit from across Australia to produce premium and accessible wines for everyone to enjoy. But beyond producing beautiful wines, they have a goal to provide 5 million people with clean drinking water within the next 10 years. Together with their charity partner, the BridgeIT Water Foundation, they identify communities most in need, facilitate the construction or repair of a water well and implement a strategy to maintain and manage the well for at least 10 years.
They fund this through their wine: for every bottle sold, they provide one person in need with water for a year. Purchases have already enabled the construction of 19 water wells, providing the equivalent of 210,000 people with one year of fresh, clean water.
You can purchase this wine from The Little Ripples website.
