Wine review: Hutton Vale Farm Riesling 2023

I’ve been a fan of the wines from Hutton Vale Farm for a few years now, especially since we visited them on our trip to the Barossa last year. I had the pleasure of trying their Rieslings last year, and now to revisit the latest vintage is very exciting.  Especially because this year I seem to have a newfound love for Riesling, and the Hutton Vale Farm Riesling 2023 has reminded me why. The dry style is perfect for Summer sipping with light and refreshing flavours making it perfect for enjoying on a hot day. It’s wonderfully aromatic, it’s zippy, and it’s fresh. What more could you want from a delightful Summer wine?

The Hutton Vale Farm Riesling 2023 is packed full of zesty and zippy notes, making it perfect for Summer days. This wine is very aromatic with perfumed florals and a touch of minerality. On the palate, you find lovely fresh citrus and a nice zippy acidity that makes this wine oh-so refreshing. It’s got a nice, long finish and is nicely textured, giving it just the right amount of oomph to make it incredibly satisfying to sip. It’s delicious from start to finish, and although you could cellar this Riesling for a few years I would have a hard time not cracking into this delicious wine!
