Wine review: Hutton Vale Farm Riesling 2022

I absolutely adore the wines from Hutton Vale Farm, especially since we visited them on our trip to the Barossa in 2022. When we were there we tried their two Rieslings for the first time and I absolutely loved them. One is an off-dry style, and this one is a dry style. I don’t drink that many Rieslings and the Hutton Vale Farm Riesling 2022 made me question why I don’t. It’s perfect for Summer sipping with light and refreshing flavours making it perfect for enjoying on a hot day. Otherwise, if you have the patience, cellaring this wine away for the next 5-10 years would definitely reward you. Personally, I couldn’t wait to crack it open.

The Hutton Vale Farm Riesling 2022 is packed full of zesty and zippy notes, making it oh-so refreshing. This wine is delightfully perfumed with fresh citrus along with delicate florals and a hint of minerality. This follows through into the zesty and driven palate which is zippy with acidity to balance out generous fruit. The wine itself is zippy, and the finish is lovely and long with a delicious texture that leaves you wanting more.
