Wine review: Champagne Jacquart Cuvee Brut Mosaique NV
Recently I was sent a beautiful bottle of Champagne Jacquart Cuvee Brut Mosaique NV to try and was trying to decide on the right occasion to sample it. As you may know, my husband isn’t the biggest Champagne drinker. So when he went away for a bucks weekend and left me home alone, you best believe I found the perfect excuse to pop open this incredible bottle. And the best part? I didn’t have to share it! Instead, I enjoyed it over the weekend, paired with whatever moment took my fancy. And it was glorious.
But now onto the wine, because I want to share how tasty it is. The Champagne Jacquart Cuvee Brut Mosaique NV seriously delivers on flavour with aromas of pear, lemon and peach. This follows through into the palate which has lovely creamy notes of biscuit. What I loved is that over time the wine opened up even more and got a hint of spice and floral aromas. The fruit really came to the front of this rich and creamy palate, making the Champagne taste even fresher. This Champagne was simply delicious from the first sip to the last. Dry, textured and balanced – what more could you want in a glass of Champagne?
