Recently I tried a new wine delivery service called Vineful. If you’re anything like me, you love drinking wine that gives you the warm fuzzies when you drink it, and Vineful is all about this. And no, I don’t just mean that nice warming sensation you get from a good glass of red! I mean feeling good about drinking wine that is made in a mindful way.
Wines that are organic and biodynamic are definitely getting more popular! We found in McLaren Vale that this was a big focus at many of the wineries, and overall it is definitely increasing in popularity with everyday consumers. We are looking to make better choices with our products, and so it makes sense that we would seek out wines that meet our values too! Luckily, there are so many more wines to explore in this category, and Vineful is making them even more accessible!
What is Vineful?
Vineful is Australia’s first mindful wine service. With a focus on Australian wine, they curate wines that are organic, preservative-free, vegan and biodynamic. They then offer delivery of three of these wines direct to your door. This means you don’t have to worry about finding these wines yourself, you can take the guesswork out and just focus on enjoying the delicious wine. It makes finding these mindful wines easy.
On top of this, their mindful with their service. From the packaging that is minimal and completely recyclable, to giving back to environmental causes, you can rest assured your warm fuzzy feeling once you have glass in hand is completely justified! They are even planting a tree for every wine box sold – how good is that?!
How much does it cost?
There are a number of options for purchasing wine from Vineful. You can do a monthly subscription which will get you three wines delivered to your door for $75 and free shipping. This can be paused or cancelled at any time. This is a great option if you want to set and forget, and each delivery will be like a present to future you.
If you aren’t a fan of subscription services, no problem! Vineful also offers a range of wines available for one-off purchase. You can either grab a curated box of three depending on what you like (vegan, organic, white, red) or, if you know you love a certain wine, you can pick them up in packs of six.
It can be hard to find mindful wines, and for very reasonable prices Vineful is delivering them straight to our doors.
The wines
With so many options on their website, you’ll be sure to find something that you want to try. They have so many different packs of wine that cater to different tastes. I particularly like that they have full white and red boxes, as sometimes I just want to buy one type of wine, but don’t want all of the same bottle. Once you try something you love, you can then buy it in a pack of six!
There’s also the subscription option which is actually quite affordable, and offers you different wines each month. This would be a great option for people who want to explore more Australian organic and biodynamic wines but don’t know where to begin. What I love about their monthly box is that you can pick and choose how much white and red you want. If you feel like more reds? No problem, just add more reds than white. It’s good being given the choice for more control over what you receive each month.
the FUL of life mindful mix
I tried the FUL of life mindful mix, retailing at $89. This box gives you a good mix of wines with a red, white and rosé. It also gives you a nice mix of the different types of wine that Vineful has to offer. I have to say I absolutely loved the packaging. It was practical, minimalist, but still very fun! I opened the box and was greeted with three beautiful wines in all their glory.
The first was the Best of Both Worlds Rosé 2018. This wine is organic and vegan-friendly, and oh so pretty to look at! This was probably the highlight of the box for me, although I loved all the wines. This wine was really refreshing with just the right amount of acidity. It was delicious, and I even shared it with my friend who doesn’t normally like Rosé and she loved it! If that isn’t a good review I don’t know what is.
The second wine I tried was the Paxton Pollinator PF Shiraz 2018. This wine is from McLaren Vale and is biodynamic, preservative-free and vegan-friendly. This wine was such a perfect food wine with its deep purple colour and bold flavours. It was great for a cold night cozied up on the couch, but would also hold its own at a dinner party.
Finally, we tried the Dormilona Chenin Blanc 2018. I absolutely loved the label on this wine, and found the wine to be really refreshing. I’m not usually as much of a fan of white wines, but this one was delicious. It is also vegan-friendly.
The final word on Vineful
There are so many wines to try on Vineful, I really don’t think you could go wrong! Whether you are a red, white or ‘I’ll drink anything’ drinker, there is something for you in either their subscription boxes or other packs.
It’s great to see companies like Vineful making it easy to find mindful wines. It is something that is becoming more popular but can be hard to track down. And then you don’t know whether they will be any good! To have Vineful curate the wines for you takes the guess work out. And with so many wines to try, you’ll always have a wine on hand you can feel good about drinking.
