The Sit Stay Society Tempranillo is a tasty wine with a cute label all wrapped up in under $20 a bottle. The best part? You can do good while enjoying tasty wine! The team at Sit Stay Society have produced the Big Dogs range which supports our four-legged friends. 50c from every bottle purchased goes to animal welfare organisation PetRescue. So you can do good while sipping on this tasty Tempranillo.
The Sit Stay Society Tempranillo is the kind of wine you don’t need to think twice about cracking open, making it perfect for a midweek wine. What I liked about it was that although it was a big wine, it drank lighter than I expected. The colour in the glass is vibrant ruby and looks almost like a Pinot Noir. But the flavours are nice and robust with aromas of cherry, spice and dried herb following into a palate that is deliciously earthy yet juicy. Fresh cherry balances out savoury notes and a nice firm finish rounds it all out. For the price you pay per bottle, this wine is a great find. And seriously cute too!
About Sit Stay Society
Sit Stay Society believe in supporting our four-legged friends. With dogs making up so much of our families and culture, they believe in making wines with a mission. According to PetRescue, over the last two years, dogs of bigger breeds take 58% longer than small dogs to find a new home after arriving in shelters or foster care. The new Big Dog range from Sit Stay Society emphasises the importance of supporting organisations like PetRescue to educate and engage pet seekers about the joys of big dogs.
